I think you are thinking of the inline ones. These mount to the outside of the frame, not the window track.

I've had both and got tired of my window coming back down when I hit the auto up. Even after using the process that was described to 'set' them so it didn't happen.

I like these much better. As long as you don't put the window down below the line of the shades, they seem to do a pretty good job. I usually have the back ones down about an inch all the time when on the highway. I usually don't use AC in the summer, so this works out perfectly to move air.

These stick on the outside of the window, so it doesn't affect the auto up window feature. At least it hasn't for me, and can't imagine how it would. I suppose as for keeping the rain out it depends what you need it for. While parked in a parking lot it allows me to roll down the window a bit without letting rain in. I can imagine it wouldn't do too well going down the road for smokers. And yeah, sorry it was 52.11 on amazon. I forgot I had a $5 credit on there which made it less than $50 for me.

Reception in the city is as good as the stock antenna. When I drive away from town, I just swap out to the original antenna.

Same here. I ended up giving up on the stubby, owing to reduced HD reception when driving outside of the city.

Globe compass - $3
Glue dots - $3

The compass came with a safety pin I had to dremel off before I could flush mount it

90's explorers came with one, why not a 13 f150?

Here is an upgrade from my former truck, that still applies to trucks without the gauge cluster LCD, helps a lot when off-road

Slopemeter Inclinometer $8

Or you can upgrade and add a compass for $9 more
