Send me the link. I need to do that but the "losing of nuts" scared me.

Yeah I've heard lots about cheap ones. I bought a Putco tailgate bar last summer and it's still surviving Canadian Winter here now. I love it, along with the white LED in reverse too.

I've had mine just over a year and 1 hella winter and no issues. Definitely worth it imo. Only recently hooked up the reverse light, couldn't bring myself to tinker with truck wiring for a while.

Like many other SCab owners with 1 dome light, I found it nearly impossible to see into the back seat on a pitch black night. Buckling my nephews into their car seats on halloween was beyond annoying. Tried to ask the dealership if they could add a dome light, no no no was all I heard. So I did it myself.

Bought a new dome light on ebay for around $40, now the Harness, that was a pain. Found one on ebay about 4 months later for $10 haha, came with harness, mount, a beat up old dome light. All from a E150 2007.

Wired the new harness right off the old one, with the change to LEDs im not worried about too much power running through the circuit. Cutting into the head lining was fun though

The left one is the new one. Yes they all have their bulbs replaced, with Putco LEDs, but those all together were way over $50 haha

ive been looking for another light bar. Which one did you install? This will be my 4th. Damm salt/ winter condition are corroding the wires in two main areas. Just begins the 4 pin and just before the light bar itself. Thinking of buying the plasma glow night rider or the other similar model. Your thoughts

For mine, I bought a Putco, from Action Trucks. You have one in Moncton area. Seems a really good quality bar. Just starting winter as you know but I've had no issues yet.

Best & brightest Tailgate light bar is from Custom Dynamics. Had 2 years and very happy with it and have been asked many times where I got it. Doesn't fit the thread title description though....

My earlier post on the "best mods" was about hardwiring the Peak camera I got recently that turns out I can't use because of Bluetooth interference. I never mentioned being $50 or less. I'll worry about price later. Just want to know what others have done and how they did it.
I bought a $15 camera off eBay and got a 20ft AV cable from the Source.Ca for $7 all in total with cable ties etc came to about $30
