I got these LED light strips at Autozone for $30. They are super bright. I wanted the floor lit up better, because even with LED lights in the map lights, the dash makes a shadow and you can't see on the floor very good.

I put one under each side of the dash to light the floors up better. I wired them to the left and right map lights, they come on when you turn on the overhead light for that side or open the door.

You can see the sun shining in the passenger side and they still light up the floor.

Later I'll put the other lights I have like this on the bottom of the door panel so they light up the ground when the door is open.

I got a pack of red ones just like those in my grille lol. Also gonna try and get a couple more packs in red so I can put one in like yours and some in the back also gonna run mine to a switch thou.

Pretty dang bright lol a lot brighter than the 20 buck strips there

The mats were out cause I was vacuuming the carpet.

BRIGHT! They have a little battery pack in them so you can test them in the store. Even with the little battery pack they were bright in the store.

i wanna add the lights to my mirrors but hesitant because the LED's are $16 and i dont think they will be bright enough. i'll give these a try. thanks.
