Hardly qualifies as a modification, but I picked up a SmartBin from WalMart awhile back and strapped it in place against the cab, in my bed:

Really like having a storage compartment in the bed of the truck, for emergency supplies/tools, etc. I don't keep anything particularly valuable in the bin. It could be stolen easily enough, however, I also have a camper-shell with tinted windows, so it's difficult to see what I have in the bed. The camper-shell provides a sufficient deterrent by itself, unless somebody is committed to robbery. Still, I keep some things that I don't want my kids messing around with, such as a knife, in the bin and so I appreciate being able to throw a padlock on it.
Also recently did the Dee Zee Tailgate Assist. Wow - what a great mod, and so easy to do. I really like being able to open the tailgate one-handed and quickly go 'hands-free' as it opens. But mostly, my wife can now manage the tailgate without fear of getting hurt and it won't take out my kids if they play around with it. Really a great, functional, easy mod that is a feature that should be standard on every truck.

Been reading a lot of the posts, I'm going to add the bed lights, got an 8 piece led strip and just picked up a couple 6" led bars to add for under the hood lights... Probably going to put them on tomorrow or Saturday. I'll post pics when it's finished. I love this thread though! Some sweet ideas out there. Keep them coming!

Been trying to get some kinda back up light. Smoked tails and 5% window tint equals not enough light. So thought id put and led strip. It's bright at night. But doesn't really shine light out. Need some new ideas. Like that it all matches so I'm gonna leave it alone. Got 10 in the 15 foot led strip. (Still got enough to do my hood and toolbox light). And like 15 in the two 100 foot wire rolls. Took bout and hour all together.
