I have not done many mods to my truck but hooking up a USB cord and thumb drive full of music to the USB2 slot in the dash is the best one.

Does anyone know if there is USB available on a stock radio that does not have SYNC? I have a 2010 xlt, no sync, just the audio In jack plug on front... i think this is the basic radio, not sure exactly though.

Just wondering if I could tap into something similar even though i dont have a stock USB port.

Unlikely. Without sync a usb port would have no function. It takes about 2 seconds to pull that tray out and look though.

Ya i figured as much... i will pop-off the tray tonight and see what i see.... i can always dream though!
