Semi Hardwired my Garmin for cheap!

I think we can all agree that a big drawback to a Garmin Nuvi is the d@#$@d suction cup mount and the power chord getting in the way. So I decided I would fix it.
For the mount issue, I bought an i.Trek IG-PSTARA Garmin Nuvi Sticky Mount off of Amazon for about $7.50. This thing sticks onto a surface with emblem tape so it is very secure.
I hid the wires behind the dash panel with the AC vent. I think its a pretty good solution for under $10.bucks.

Canadian tire. Not sure where in the states you could go but any auto parts store will have it. Just ask for a 2.5" pipe and 2 clamps. 18" length is what I used and it's the perfect size.

I don't have a camera. My cell phone sucks for audio recording. But there are lots of videos on google. It's not too much louder but the tone is a lot deeper and you can hear the rumble from the engine.
