Best looking truck cap!

I've had the Leer 100XR for almost a year and half and I love it. About the only thing I would've done differently would have been to add the roof racks when I ordered it.

These are all great. I really like the ARE... Question: For you guys with Dogs. Does the frameless windows of the Z series give enough air flow for the doggies? I'd only have dog in kennel in back on days that aren't hot.

I'm going with the ARE Z series for the 2013 I just bought.
I have Leer on my 97 F150, and 94 Ranger, and I'm glad I didn't buy them....they are junk.
Granted, they are both older models, but I really hope they have improved the quality for you guys that like them now.
Both my Leer's leak, the Ranger never fit right from day one (It was my Father-in-law's truck), and the clear coat is peeling off the F150.
One dealer I visited had an ARE Z-series for my year truck in the showroom, and it just seems a more solidly made top than the older Leers I am familiar with.
Styling wise the ARE Z and Leer 100XL are almost identical.
What made the decision for me to go ARE was the solidness, and the carpeted headliner is standard on the ARE Z vs and option on the Leer....well that and the other two Leers I have are crap.
The one dealer did tell me that Leer had gotten so bad that they stopped selling them for a while, but they have improved over the last few years so they sell them again, but he still has fewer issues with ARE.

Once the temps get close to about 80-85, the pups get to ride with us in the A/C.

I'm in the market for a topper as well for my Black SCSB. I really like the look of the Snugtop XTR and have only read good things about them. From the people I've spoken to, Snugtop seems to be a great brand but I don't have any firsthand experience for you (yet).

I've had 2 leers over the last 15 years. Both high end models, Browning editions with gun box etc. Both leaked and the rear door/glass would never latch correctly. Dealer nor LEER offered a solution.
Love my ARE Z series since day 1 on my 2013. We also run the ARE CX version on our work fleet truck. Little to know issues other than rusted lock mechanism from time to time. Michigan salt is tough on them.
