I think you'd be just as well off to drop about $75 on a rubber bed mat.

Then if later down the road the rest of the paint in the bed gets scratched, THEN you can STILL get a line-x spray in liner that will be and look brand new. Outside of a large dent, the line-x is going to cover up anything else.

Did that with my '03. That's why I got the Line-X in the new one.

Man, I'm gonna get flamed for this one, but here goes...
Line-X is an outstanding product as it stands. I've gone in a different direction with a Bedrug and I don't think the masses give this option enough credit. It's incredibly durable and it's padded protecting your truck and your cargo. It's skid resistant and won't mar up your cargo. It's not for everyone, that's obvious, but I believe that more people should give the Bedrug a second look, or at least a first look.

Additionally, when combined with a good bed cover, the water intrusion is damn near nothing. Most drips fall between the bed and the rug and rarely make it to my cargo. Just a nice added feature.

are you rough on it? if so how does it hold up. Just don't really want to have to go in and get it sprayed all the time.

I had the standard on my '05 F-150 for 8 years before I traded her in and it looked the same as it did when I first got it sprayed. I had deer, ducks, fish, blood, guts, mulch, rocks, wood, chemicals, etc. in there too, so I wasn't easy on it. I did have a tonneau cover on the whole time too, so fading was not a concern for me where the premium would come in.

Not at all. A solid #2 in my book, and each time I get a new truck I think hard between Line-X and Bedrug. I just can't say no to Line-X though.

Oh yeah. nothing will hurt this thing lol. The platinum is a pure polyurea and stronger than the premium. Line-X platinum was made for contractors and construction work I think. I got it because I plan on keeping my truck for a long time and wanted the best protection available
