Silverstar ultra and ZXE bulbs are your best bet by far.

I have silver star ultras in the headlights and regular silver stars in the fogs. For halogen bulbs, the output is incredible. Far better than stock. Not as good as the HIDs on the Genesis Coupe I had, but great for halogens.

I have silverstars in my fogs. Not ultras. Much more of a crisper, whiter light by far.

I just asked this as well. Yes, the SilverStars and SilverStar Ultra are probably great choices of Halogens.. I didn't notice a huge difference from stock, but definitely am satisfied with what they are: $40 halogen bulbs from AutoZone. Don't expect a "white" or "LED" type look at all, just expect a little bit more clean/crisp stock bulb. If you saw my truck in town at night, you wouldn't think "Oh, wow, that guy has some nice looking headlights..". You'd think they were stock. But if you're looking for good light output, they do the job!!

No matter what way I go, I can say that even stock, the headlights that I have now are much much better then my old 94 F150 even with the sliverstars that were in it.

I found a chart (link below) that lists the specs for the H13/9008 SliverStars. The only difference that I see between the Ultra and the ZXE is 100k temp color. Will that make that much of a difference? Both the Ultra and the ZXE are the same price. Also I don't see a listing for a 9140 bulb, but I do see a 9145. Are these the same bulb?

I had 6000K HIDs and always read they were PURE WHITE, but I read something on here lately it was like 5600 or 5400K... Always thought 6000K. (Sylvania SilverStars are advertised at 4100Kish)
