So my uncle has a 09' 4.6l and tows a 1700 lbs trailer everyday for work. He is eating pads / rotors. I run powerstop slotted/drilled extreme tow but I don't see that they are available for his 09'. Any recommendations???

Does the trailer have brakes. That would help a lot. How long does he wait to stop. If you slow down way before and coast it helps to. Did he put the break pads in the right way I know that they look similar but there are small differences between them and that can help them get eaten up as well.
