Lmao my mom's 09 Challenger and dad's 09 Cummins have both had warranty work. That cracks me up. Still great vehicles tho! But just to be safe I wouldn't do anything to void a warranty. And I would go with the exhaust if it was me. Intake after exhaust!

Now if you bring in your truck with the stock tune loaded back on, hole in the block, all the other parts are stock or have been returned to stock? I'm a betting man that you are getting warranty work done. They have no reason to go through the effort to deny.
My last car was a tuned and pullied $90,000 Cadillac CTS-V. Out of warranty engine replacement was something along the lines of a new XLT pickup. I was not, nor was anyone else, concerned about getting screwed with because of a pulley -- let alone a tune. The amount of cry babying on this forum about tunes is so blown out of proportion it's not even funny.
On the flip side, everyone puts 10' lifts on their trucks with giant mud tires and is surprised when CV joints, drive shafts, power steering, etc all starts to go to hell but even mention the word 'tune' to someone then bricks will be ****.

Besides LMS putting skylights in blocks, I have not really seen that many issues with tunes on the forum? Now, vibrations, steering issues, bad CV's, driveshaft issues with lifts? There are quite a few of those.

Believe what you want. If you bring in your truck with a bunch of aftermarket go fast parts and you have an unusual problem or hole in your block ( wearing a flat brimmed hat and yelling helps too ) -- then yeah, they will probably dig into the ECM ( dealers don't do this, corporate level does ) and find a reason to deny.

All I did was stated a fact. I didn't give him any advice on whether or not to do it. THEY CAN TELL YOUR TRUCK HAS BEEN TUNED EVEN AFTER YOU REFLASH TO YOUR STOCK TUNE. That is a fact. Just putting it out there and trying to be helpful. Simple as that. Get your panties out of a wad. Oh and please tell me where you bought a CTS-V for $90k and have a $30k engine?

Sticker on it was just a sliver under 90k with all the options when I got it new. A dealer performed supercharged LSA replacement was nearly 30 grand when I asked out of curiosity. When even the Volkswagen guys have more cajones when it comes to tunes than the F150 forum, that says something.

So I will ask my favorite question. Has ANYONE lost their warranty from having a tune? Please not a "I heard from some one who heard from his friend who saw it on the internet that was posted one day in June a guy lost his warranty".
