Equal-i-zer Weight Distributing Hitch unless you are just towing a lawn mower. RVWholesalers and HitchDepotUSA are two good sources for good price. Order the size ball(s) you need at the same time.

Follow the towing guide found here for weight capacity. http://www.ford.com/resources/ford/g...rv&tt_f150.pdf Your trailer needs to be level or mostly so. To figure that measure the tongue height & your receiver height to figure drop for the hitch. It's better to be low on the tongue than high. So err on the side of being low. Your ball diameter will need to match your trailer. It will be stamped on the tongue of the trailer. http://www.etrailer.com/ sales some good stuff at good prices. You can spend very little if all you are towing is your riding mower and you just want a mild steel setup or you can spend a whole lot on a solid aluminum adjustable drop hitch with quick change stainless *****. That kind of set up is great if you are towing a wide range of trailers. It's all up to what you want to do & what you want to spend. Like was said before anything over 5000K or 500lbs of tongue weight needs a weight distributing hitch like the Ford brochure said. Those can also be found at etrailer. I have been very happy with that seller in the past when I had bought a brake controller for my Flex. Quick turn around. Good luck!
