Default Bed hook accessories

Saw in the Ford accessory catalog that they have retractable bed hooks that fit in the stake pockets. I was looking for something like this to hook the ratchet straps to when securing bulky loads (like hay bales).

Anybody have these? Do they work and how do they look? Can I buy on e-bay/Tasco and install myself, or does the dealer need to do it? Thanks.

I have retractable hooks on my F-150. I've had these same hooks on my last 3 trucks. They are easy install and removal. I think they are Bull Hooks or soemthing like that. I've had them a long time. They work and look great.

Bull Ring, exactly.

I got 'em for my bed too, around $25 I forget where but they are sold everywhere. Great product, easy to install or de-install.

Yes, but only two (due to the 5.5 config), rearmost.

There are removable black rectangular covers that pop right off, covering the stake holes.

The 5.5' bed does not have the preformed openings in the bedrail cap/cover. You would have to cut an opening to install the bed hook.

thats what i was thinking i just have not tried to take the covers off yet since the truck is less than a week old right now. I guess I will take them off and cut a hole in them so i can use the stake holes
