That's what it is. I didn't look at page 2 so if someone answered this, sorry.

The other thing about the aluminum ones is they are cumbersome. I took mine camping/wheeling and when I got there it was at the camp site unattended and unsecure. If you have something large in a bed like a couch (8' in a 6' bed) you can't use it. It hangs over the tailgate. You kinda have to plan ahead with it. I'm glad I don't have one now even though they can fold up out of the way. I just keep some ratchet straps with me.

That's why with both my 2001 and 2004 F150's with factory aluminum bed extenders, I ended up always hanging them up in my garage because if I had gone out and picked up something unexpectedly long and bulky that required their removal, I may not have space anywhere in the truck to store it securely. The folding extender was one the best things Ford did in the redesign with the 2009+ models, IMO.
