Hit your local truck outfitter, they should have something in a soft fold cover for 400.00 or less, easy 5 minute install, if not dealer has em for 500.00! Good Luck...

Exams trifolds should be available, my dealer north of Toronto sells then just under $300. Had mine two years and love it. Two clamps at the front hold it in place and two spring clamps at the back hold it closed. So far has kept my stuff safe, dry, and outta sight.

Toronto isn't too bad. Keep your stuff outta sight and your truck shouldn't get bothered, depending on what area you are going to.

Rent a small uhaul. Probably cheaper than getting reamed on a cover, especially if the MIL pays for it.

+1 ^^This is the most logical and you won't get stuck with a cover your not happy with.

Go rent a van from your favorite rental place. Cost $50 and if you shop saavy you'll save that on your cover purchase later anyhow. Everything is protected and the MIL even gets to ride inside.

Thanks for the helpful info everyone, found one actually at meijer, and for anyone intrested it's a extang snap, no drill, they are actually on clearance because they will not carry them anymore, 49.99!!! Meijer in Washington twp had the 5.5 box cover and the one in Utica had the 6.5 box one in stock.

My wife's relatives live Woodbridge or Vaughan it shows up both on my gps, not to worried about the area form what I've seen when we have gone lol, looks like in that neighborhood the only people in f150's are the ones that do your lawn lol.

Rental would've been a good idea of MIL wasn't such a bioootch, it would only make her think she is right on why I got a truck and not a minivan or Honda pilot.
