It took some digging, but I scored what I felt was a good price: $638 shipped on the G2, $366 on the Bed Rug. Truckaddons wouldn't budge unless I could show them something in writing.

I recommend an Undercover (either Classic or SE). A tonneau that COVERS your rails and COVERS your tailgate will serve you better for waterproofing. Great "bang for you buck" also.

Westbayou: You mentioned you transport medical equipment and implants. My wife sold implants (hips, knees, etc.) for Zimmer for 16 years.

Congrats, dont let all the "scary" stories worry you about the G2, I have had it for a year and love it.

I got mine for around the same.

I have a Leer 700 Toneau cover and it keeps the water out and looks great. Paid a good bit for it but you can usually find a $50 or $75 coupon on line it is worth every penny.

Undercover has more "utility" than any fiberglass cover. It's lightweight (only weighs about 58 pounds), you can stand on it, it's made to be removeable: you can remove or reinstall the cover in less than 60 seconds. If you don't want black, you can get the Undercover SE-Smooth and have it painted.

I have a TonnoPro soft tri-fold. Paid $269 for it. Knock on wood, bed stays dry inside!

No drilling, no rails to attach... This puppy installed in 4 minutes out of the box!

Sell implants for Smith & Nephew, a competitor of Zimmer.

My personal recommendation is the Solid Fold.

Here is a Side-By-Side Comparison of the two with pics

I wish I had more info on the soft covers for you. The Solid Fold is a great buy at $610.
I second this. Just got my extang solid fold from got-chrome.com.....great cover, 610 bucks.
