Battery Leaking, Positive Terminal Corroding Away

Just replaced my positive trerminal on a 2010 F150. Local dealer said I needed a new terminal harness $ 250 and to install was $275. Went to another Ford dealership and picked up the Edge battery terminal replacement (BT4Z-14450-AA) clamping the wires was a chore but I just kept using bigger Vise Grips until it was secured.
