There is bound to be a muffler included. The Banks website says the exhaust is fully compatible with the Ford Warranty.

I thought maybe the website said something about a Banks 3" flows better than a 4" pipe. Not sure

Yes There is a muffler in the box.

Sorry took a sec to get back on here.

It's a straight through muffler. Polished.

I'll get some pics tomorrow for y'all. The pic on the website for stage3 is incorrect.

A more important question for all - Which version of the F150 do you have (extended cab, Screw, 5.5' bed, 6.5' bed etc). As there is only one part number on the Banks site my guess is that it only fits one version of the F150's for overall length of the pipes? I'm really interested (I have a SCrew with the 6.5' bed).

Yes it is available for the different cab/bed configurations. When you call Banks power they ask what engine, cab, and bed size the truck has. I have been talking with them, it's the exhaust that I am most likely going to go with just need to build the funds up before I drop the coin on the system.

As of right now they have the one kit for the CCSB. 145"
They ask you what config u have, because they can't guarantee as of yet that it fits anything but the CCSB. The 48761 kit.

Engineers are getting more trucks in this month to verify fitment on other wheelbases. Is what I got from calling the dealer tech line last week.

I have a crew cab 6.5' bed 157". So I'm taking the chance. But as I can tell from looking at the parts, u cut your intermediate pipe at where ever it lines up, therefore it would be like the v8 kit and fit most if not all configurations.

Well if it is the right kit I'm excited to hear your impressions when you install it!

Default BANKS Monster Exhaust-single (5.0)

Installed the single Banks Monster last weekend on my 5.0. It too, had the directions for other engines which caused momentary concern. But all in all, it worked out and took about an hour.

NOTE - ONE BIT OF THE INSTRUCTIONS IS MISSING: When removing the Ford OEM pipes at the joint in FRONT of the muffler, we initially thought it was jammed/stuck. But there is an "L" - shaped channel that a screw head fits into and turns-to-lock. The screw head is permanently attached to the inner pipe at this joint. Run your fingers around that joint and you'll feel the screw sticking up. Just rotate it 30 degrees or so, pull aft, and it'll come right off. After that, it's easy. Again, this was on a 5.0. Sorry, not sure about the EB.

The sound? Go easy on the gas, and it's a mellow tone. Nail it and the neighbors will think a 'stang HP is blowing by. On the Interstate at 70+, the drone can be a bit annoying after 400 miles or so. Personal pref. All in all: LOVE IT! It's my second childhood!

I have one on my 2010 5.4 and I think it's 3" as well.
