Just finished installing my banks monster exhaust on my 2013 5.0 Fx4.Install took two hours and the sound is well worth the time and 500 bucks. This exhaust is perfect for those seeking an audable engine tone without drone or pissing off the neighbors on those 5 a.m start ups. It sits about a quarter inch below the plastic on the bottom of the bed but Ive taken it for over an hour mountain drive and it did not melt the plastic so im happy with the final finish. If anyone is torn on an exhaust system i highly recommend the banks.

No drone and it can be loud when your right foot tells it to be! Perfect!!!
Exhaust sounds great. Haven't seen to many guys running the Banks, so don't get to hear it much. Sounds nice and deep with no raspy popping. Really like the black single exit tip also. Would look great on an FX4.
Still torn between a borla system or the banks. The banks is cheaper but honesty when you get on it does it put a smile on your face or does it just sound good?

Borla does make some great exhaust systems. I've had them before.... I was skeptical at first on the Banks, but so glad I went with them!
To answer your question: it does both! It indeed puts a smile on your face & sounds great! Plus you have extra $$ to put towards other mods!

How's this compared to muffler delete or the Solo Performance single exit with the quieter muffler? Thinking of trying the muffler delete first and if I'm not happy going with an aftermarket system like Solo or Banks
