Bought it. I'll do it myself in the next little bit. Bought some good beer instead of spending $80 on the install. Wish me luck!

Good call. Report back when you're done. I think once you see what's involved you will see how that $80 would have been a big waste. Beer is a MUCH better investment

How much did you pay for the cover?

$887 Canadian Dollars + Tax

I'm sure I could have found it a few dollars cheaper online, but this was in stock and local from a good shop.

The G2 is installed and looks great! The install went very smoothly and the cold weather wasn't an issue at all. I unpacked the cover inside (warm) and then brought each piece out separately when it was to be installed. No issues with the 3M tape; it went on fine and seems to be sticking well. No alignment issues, and I was able to smooth out the rubber with a hair dryer.

I'm a happy camper so far. I ran the truck through a car wash because it was really dirty. I wanted to check the bed for water leaks (I'm sure there will be some because of the cold), but it looks like everything is frozen completely shut in/on the bed...lol, it even took a good shove to get out of the vehicle because my door was frozen shut.

So, can you install a Bakflip Cover in extreme cold? YES! Should anyone pay $80 to have it installed? NO! Save the money you would pay someone to install it and buy BEER!

Thanks for all the help everyone! No great pics, but here's one I took from the warmth inside me house:

Looks great! I like how flat it sits on the truck.

Did you install the drain tubes? Just curious because I have a drop in liner.

If you want the bed dry, you definitely want the drain tubes. I found I could run mine to the holes in the bed sides just under the drains instead of running them way down to those plugs in the front of the bed. Worked on both my 09 and my 10.

When I looked at moving mine from the 09 with Line-X to the 10, I found I was going to have to cut the bedliner to make the rails fit per the instructions, and that I was gong to have to cut to reach those holes. Plus my drop in fit poorly at the top of the bulkhead and was going to be tough to seal. Finally said forget it and took it for a Line-X.
