Prolly winter gas is most peoples cases, I got 17-19 when i first got it, been getting 15 or so all winter on the same roads. Went on a couple trips and got better mileage everywhere else except around where I live, I dont know wtf, maybe they use crappier gas up here or something, haha! Got 18mpg or so at 80 mph in SD, get 14 mpg that fast in ND, flat land freeway both states, not sure if small elevation and temperature differences really make that much difference or what. But that being said i didnt buy the f150 for gas mileage concerns and I have no intentions of slowing down, even if gas hits 5-6$ a gallon Im still going 80+! Speed limits 75 for those of you who think 80 is excessive, lol!

We dont use much for Ethanol Blends in Canada but it is interesting the variations that you get in mileage claims. I have learned to not be faithfull to any brand of vehicle because they are all the same when you show up at the service department with a warranty concern. For me so far this 2009 f150 3V is the nicest driving truck with the worst mileage of any truck I have owned since fuel injection arrived on the f150. I find i leave it parked and drive it when I need too, just like my old 02 f150 7700 series. The dealer reset the cam tables while working on the transmission but it hasnt made any difference (14.4 mpg hiway). So just looking to see if anybody has had any experiences that have worked. I dont want to throw good money at it and then end up flipping it, becouse it made no difference. I have got 19-22 mpg before with other pickups so I know it is posible. (fish stories asside)

Either you are driving nearly all the time on the highway at 60 to 65 or you are not averaging anywhere near 18-19. Just saying.
