Does anyone know if it is possible to take my current backup camera and have a feed to a tablet or similar device on the dash? Currently it appears in my mirror on my 2010.

There was an app that uses devices Bluetooth - but you need the Bluetooth cam - not as nice as ur factory cam -

4ucam.com sells a setup that I use for my ipad installations.. I also use it with my galaxy phone when I forget my ipad at home. The website states that they don't guarantee that their wifi converter isn't guaranteed to work with all cameras besides their own, but it's worth a shot!

I think the best way to do this and you have to have wiring experience you might need to splice not sure but you can get a video to Bluetooth transmitter from eBay or similar I saw only cost$30 connect back up camera video rca to it and attach power and ground to transmitter and dl the app on tablet and try it see of that works I myself have not tried it yet but will do it later when have time

that most likely won't work in our gen with a mirror cam. there is no rca to connect. the only way i have ever seen anyone get the signal out of the mirror, successfully, is to splice the feed line in the driver's kickpanel.
