I have a 2013 XLT Off-Road and my factory backup camera is on the mirror. I have the Sync screen/radio on my dash. My dad has the exact same truck but 2014, and his backup camera shows up on the dash. Is there a way to switch where the backup cam is viewed from either the dash or mirror? Possibly toggle back and forth? I'd rather it show up on the dash.

It's actually not as easy as that. There is a group buy going on in a different thread where you can buy just the 4.2" interface however you will need to do some splicing into the factory mirror wires to get it transferred over.

https://www.f150forum.com/showthread...58#post4350758

Two video wires in the existing mirror get clipped, spliced into an RCA cable with the end cut off, then routed to the new 4.2" radio interface to be plugged in. The interface takes care of all the flashing and interfacing required.

Can't find the right thread, but my issue is that my camera stays on when I put it into drive. Stays on for about 10 seconds. Aggravating. Didn't use to do it. 2013 still under warranty. Dealer said can't fix because no error codes. Help please.
