I just received word back from the service department...no DTC's were thrown (which we already knew), tech see's some things wrong on the recordings so now they sent them to Ford's Engineering Team and are awaiting a response.

Let's see where this goes. I will admit, this is a great service department and they always show concern and do their best to accomodate you. Hands down the best I have dealt with over the 30+ years I have been driving.

Ford engineers responded and the service department reflashed the TCM and then I need to go through the re-learning stage again (done this 3 other times already). Apparently this is a normal thing and is designed that way?

Not sure I want to keep going back to the dealer to have to do this adaptive thing every time this acts up with hesitation. The loaner I am driving although it's a 5.4L is not having these issues.

What to do next? Any opinions or help?

Frustrated,
Bob
