Arrow by gas icon?
 

Recently bought a new to me ‘14 F-150 SC (my first truck and loving it) and am still learning new things every day. Just noticed this today, does anyone know what this down arrow next to the gas icon means? If anything. Like I said I just noticed it so I don’t know if it ever changes to an up arrow LOL.

They didn't include the owners manual with it? No problem, head over to www.owner.ford.com and create a free account and you can gain access to that and much much more info on your new to you truck.

Even has a spot for you to record maintenance records, get info on recalls etc.....

I wish I could tell you, you don't have it in auto refill mode. Otherwise, no clue.

This is just this guy's way of saying he doesn't know.

I am pretty sure it is their way of telling you how many gallons of gas it has used.

That’s the only thing I could think of but I do like the ‘auto-refill’ suggestion LOL.
Seriously learn something new with this truck every day. And found a perfect home to talk all things F-150!!!

It's not next to the icon, it's part of the icon.

+1. It's literally just an icon somebody designed to impart the connotation of your gas level going down, and no it never changes.

I've looked at that style cluster for 6 years and never noticed the little arrow.

My wife just through this out, it’s pointing down to show gallons used going down? :eek:
