Im looking at getting rid of the stock resonator and muffler. Im thinking about the 50 series hd flowmaster. Anyone running that setup and are you happy with the sound?

I have a 6.2 and installed the Flowmaster HD 50 series. Single side exhaust. No drone, mellow tone at idle and under acceleration. Not loud but a healthy tone.

That's pretty much what I'm looking for. Not to loud but not to quiet.

I did the same. If I were to do it again... I'd do the exact same setup. I thought it was a perfect combo.
Actually got asked more times what kind of exhaust I had, then I ever did with the dual out.

Thanks for the replys . I ordered a cat back american thunder system that's 409 stainless with a 50 series HD muffler. Total cost was 394 from jegs on sale from 585 good deal there. It has a 3.5 outlet pipe with a 4 inch stainless tip. Should be here in a week or so.
