They say only 18+ to cover their tracks, myself, @IrishRed and @NWFreerider are all running Rancho lifts with 17s. (Irish is running the 6in, while NW and myself are running the 4in.)They're 17x9s with -6 or about 4.5BS. I plan on going to 35s here in the future and should have plenty of room as the Rancho 4in is actually a 5in lift rather than a 4.
No problem, I figured the 18" disclaimer was just a CYA on their part. Thanks a lot for the info, now I just have to decide how bad I want it.

Truck looks good.

Well damn, a rough country tech told me a 17 would hit the aftermarket tie rod mount.

That's the thing, Rancho lifts are on the upper echelon of prices for lifts. But, you get what you pay for, no strut spacers, one piece subframe, better shocks. From (I believe) March to June, Rancho offers a $400 rebate on their lifts. That's when I got mine last year was in early April, helped pay for install and offset cost of the lift itself. I have noticed the prices have gone up since when I bought mine but not too much. I kind of wish I would of put on 18s when I got my lift but I am happy with what I have, plus I can run 37s and 17s for the price and weight of 35s and 20s.

Talked to a Rancho rep, a lift isn't available for the 14's apparently. The website showing 09-14 is a misprint.

They do offer it but it's a strut spacer that goes on your factory strut rather than a longer strut.

What another member on here has done, is buy 2013 lower control arms and swap them out so he could purchase a 2013 lift. The only thing (as far as I know) that changed on the 2014's was the lower control arm shock mount.

$1,500 for the strut spacer lift that doesn't include the spacers or rear shocks is a bit much IMO. They do have the rebate for a few more days but after having to purchase separate spacers and shocks you're right back to $1500.

I think what I may end up doing is going with the F150lifts 1" body lift and see what that gets me. If I'm still wanting more I may actually go with their Boss coilovers. Who knows.....

Truck looks awesome. I bought the same wheels in 18" just waiting on the last wheel to come in (its a long story) and wrapping them in 305/65 terra grapplers

Default 35x12.50R17 on a 6"

I know this thread is for the 09-14 F-150 but I have a 17 F-150 FX4 I'm looking at putting a 6" Super lift Lift Kit on. I want to run Fuel Vapor 17" with a -12mm offset and Cooper discoverer s/t maxx 35x12.50 tires. When I posted the wheel size question on Super Lifts website they said that it would fit fine. Having no experience of having my own lift kit (as a mechanic I worked on a few lifted trucks), I wanted to see if anyone knew if this will actually fit and how much trimming, if any, needs to be done. Eventually I'm replacing my bumpers with ADD Stealth R bumpers but if I can hold off on that purchase for a little while it'd make my initial lift kit purchase so much cheaper.

Bringing back an old post, when you guys did the Rancho lift, did anyone have the 4A (all wheel drive) option on their truck? Rancho’s site also says it excludes that option as far as a fire for the truck
