I think a 33" tire would look great, and if you decide to go with new wheels I would check into the offset so you know they will fit without rubbing or have the shop try them on your front. With the factory wheel +44 offset it allows for a little larger tire without it rubbing.

I have a 1-1/2" front level and 3" block and replaced the stock 17 wheels with a set that has a 0 offset in 17 x 9. I'm only running 275/70/17s which is a 32" tire. If I went to a 285/70/17 it would rub a little when taking a corner. If I had a wheel with a +25 offset it would work for the larger tire but I couldn't find a wheel in 17" I liked with that offset. It's just something to think about so you don't limit your tire size along with no rubbing issues.
