Question anyone - REMOVE traction control?

Hey guys,

Has anyone removed the traction control system, so it is completely off, not just ok button pushed but still kicks in over 35mph?

If so, what wire do you cut, fuse do you pull, where do you drill holes, etc...

Thanks guys?

If I remember I think it kills the abs or something too. There was one member that put it on a switch.

there's been a lot on this forum about this topic...I believe if you pull the fuse you'll also disable other safety features like abs.

I live on gravel roads and that traction control is a royal pain the ssa! Hate it, WAY TOO SENSITIVE. Snow, forget it. Turning it off on the dash is a joke too, only stays off until you spin it up to 30 mph. I wish there was a way to program it to be less sensitive.

Mine stays off up to at least 50mph while in 4wd and hitting the button, been playing with it the last few days in the snow. Can't believe it doesn't shut off automatically in 4wd like they do in the SD's.

This is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if it effected me. When I'm going to drive back to the property. Mainly off road with steep inclines with rocks one big one in particular. The entire truck clear the rock, and all 4 wheels on the ground. But the truck just doesn't move. Anybody know anything on this. I am always in 4x4 high, but have tried it with the TCS on and off and get the same results. Is there something I can do? I know I have the power to push the truck up the hill, but it's like the truck is holding back..

Hold the TC button down 5 sec. to disable everything and then you may still need to use 4lo.
