Anyone mod those "loaves of bread" ?
I'm sure those black plastic rectangular "inserts" "loaves of bread" in the front bumper area are engineered for a purpose. Has anyone removed them or done a modification? not a bull or brush bar.
If they serve a technical function- what is it?- something to do with increasing or creating the desired of most effective air flow intake?

I dont think theres much you could do, other than put the harley bumper on instead

I just wish they didn't stick out like they do... if they were a black plastic insert that was flush with the bumper, then it wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb like they do

my guess is it's a extra bumper of a sorts since they stick out further than the metal bumper. For example pulling into a park garage you get to close to the wall in front of you and it hits the plastic bumper vs. the metal one thus saving a dent in the metal bumper. My 2 cents anyway. There are bumper covers as well that remove those insert. Imagine that you could take them out and install some type of billet grille in it's place?
