Default 2012 ford f150 horn does not work

I put on a louder horn and replaced with the 2 factory horns. It work for a week and now will not work, I put the factory horns back on and they will not work

I tested the horns right to the battery and they work
Checked the fuse and its good.
IS there a relay somewheere that went bad? Help, what else can i check

See if you can meter from the fuse to the connector to check for a broken wire.

In case of a short, it protects the circuit from over current.

Cant see a relay being needed, but a wiring diagram would tell for sure.

Possible, but the fuse should have blown. If it didnt, it could burn up a wire or the switch contacts, but not sure how much current that would take.

You could try using a test light on thethe switch side of the fuse to ground. When pushing the horn, the test light should be lit up.

If you still have btb warranty, put the old horns on, and take it in.
