Default Anyone know of a totaled 12 or 13?

Believe it or not I can't find one local. I am trying to find a passenger front belt buckle.
My dog rides with me and the stupid alarm keeps chiming. Due to the curve of the seats, 2013 FX4, clicking the seatbelt in just does not work.
I hope that just clicking in a spare buckle will stop it.

There was a programming method you could use on the 04-08 year trucks to disable it. It was listed in the owners manual, not sure if 09-13 is similar.

It was just a series of key cycles and lock buttons, only took a few seconds to do.

Maybe someone here knows more!

One member says pg 197 of the owners manual has it listed.

It's on page 46 of the 2013 owner's manual...

Note: The driver and front passenger Belt-Minder are deactivated and
activated independently. When deactivating or activating one seating
position, do not buckle the other position as this will terminate the
process.

Note: If you are using MyKey, the Belt-Minder cannot be disabled.
Also, if the Belt-Minder has been previously disabled, it will be
re-enabled after the use of MyKey. Refer to the MyKey chapter.
Read Steps 1 - 4 thoroughly before proceeding with the deactivation
or activation programming procedure.

Before following the procedure, make sure that:
• the parking brake is set
• the transmission selector lever is in position P
• the ignition is off
• the driver and front passenger safety belts are unbuckled
1. Turn the ignition on. DO NOT START THE ENGINE.
2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately one
minute)
• Step 3 must be completed within 30 seconds after the safety belt
warning light turns off.
3. For the seating position being disabled, buckle then unbuckle the
safety belt three times, ending in the unbuckled state.
• After Step 3, the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three
seconds.
4. Within approximately seven seconds of the light turning off, buckle
then unbuckle the safety belt.
• This will disable the Belt-Minder feature for that seating position if it
is currently enabled.
• This will enable the Belt-Minder feature for that seating position if it
is currently disabled.

Hope that helps!
