anyone have yellow putco fogs?
Looking for anyone running these in their fogs..
Putco® 230010JY - Halogen Replacement Bulbs (9145 / H10, 3000K)
Can't find any good reviews, local shop has these in stock.

I want a strong yellow fog, but am removing the hid's cause I had a bad experience, going back to halogen... open to other suggestions...

This doesn't answer your question, but I've have good luck with these so far. Very bright yellow and a focused beam like a fog light should do.
Unlike the $100 bucks worth of led's sitting in the toolbox drawer.

This doesn't answer your question, but I've have good luck with these so far. Very bright yellow and a focused beam like a fog light should do.

If you haven't already, Daniel Stern's tech article on "yellow fog" is interesting which parts reads:
A 1976 study done in the Netherlands found no significant benefit to either colour over the other—an interesting result not only because it contradicted both the claims of yellow superiority, and also the counterclaims that white is better. But selective yellow lamps have consistently over the years been subjectively preferred as "better" in bad weather and lower in glare than white ones. Even now, when most of the world's fog lamps emit white light, the "good fog lamps are yellow" idea still has traction.

IMO, yellow fogs look good in contrast to white heads with secondary benefit that oncoming drivers might be less inclined to flash you if not thinking that your high beams are on. I have PIAA H10 white fog bulbs but might choose yellow if otherwise of equivalent specification.
