Default Anyone have a pillar-mounted spotlight on their truck?

I'm thinking of adding one to mine for ranch purposes. I'm curious to see if anyone else has one on their new body style. I'm looking at Unity brand.

Thanks in advance.

Don't do that.
If your going to add a light do a 20" in the bumper and some hood mounted cubes.

Already have a 32" on the brush guard. I've never been a fan of them, my KCs put out way more light down range. It's mostly for looks and to be "hip". LEDs don't have the throw of halogen.

I need something I can aim without pointing the truck at whatever it is that needs light.

Thanks for your reply.

Have you looked at the power remote spot lights? They run off of a remote, you can roof mount...

Have one on my work truck. It is not impressive at all. Compared to the unity spotlight I had on my precious vehicle it is dim and the lights hotspot is disappointing. I had high hopes for it when I got it and was quickly disappointed. I do not recommended it to anyone that asks about it.

Got a link to the product you're talking about? Thanks.

Golight.com

Like I said, the wireless remote novelty is nice but light output sucks.

Try a real one from KH Industries, something that is actually built for commercial service. They have halogens, HID's up to 50W. Plus 5 year warranties...

I should qualify why I recommend these: GoLight Strykers are about 200,000 candle power, KH offers at a few versions at 750,000. Quite a difference in output.
