Courtesy light wont come on when i open the doors HELP!
I had previously installed some lighting for the floorboards by tapping into the wire that controls the lights that come on when you open the doors. Recently they stopped coming on on my 2011 crew cab. So I checked all the fuses and wired it back to stock and the damn things still won't come on. They come on when I turn them on manually but not when I push the rocker switch on the way to the on position. I've swapped relays and checked all the fuses. Has anyone else had this issue or have suggestions? I didn't realize how badly I needed them until now. Any suggestions would be helpful, I feel like I've tried everything I can think of to get them working.
Does anyone know the specific fuse or relay that controls this? I've pulled and tested everything in the owners manual that might be related to dome lighting and more.
Any help is appreciated, right now I'm just using a flashlight in the truck at night.
Thanks!

Does disconnecting "some lighting for the floorboards" resolve the issue?

Disconnect the battery - cable for 15 mins, it might reset the body control module, that is what controls the interior lighting, how did you check the fuses and what fuse panel were you looking at?

Yeah I've disconnected the battery, Checked all the fuses wirth a fuse tester, swapped relays, taken out every light that was spliced into that particular wire and still no courtesy lights. Anyone know what particular fuse or relay that controls that lighting? The manual can be a bit confusing as to what controls what.
