I have the Raptor Grey ones on my Silver F150 XLT (de-chromed)....THe gray goes well with my color theme, the original reason I liked them and still do!
Im running the stock bulbs and blasts using a Morimoto Wiring Harness. I LOVE the light output, however Id like to get some Rigid lights to make up the lack of light at the 10 & 2 o'clock positions. The cutoff on the sides is pretty sharp!

What you're probably seeing is nicer bulbs vs stock. Put some nice 4300k against nice 8000k and you will see that the 4300k will be a better bulb.
The only way I would go that high was in I owned a Honda!

Did you color your grill gray as well, or is it the lighting in your pics that makes it look lighter than OEM black?

That is one CLEAN truck. Damn I would never know it's an XLT.

Thanks man, That's what I was going for!
However you wouldn't guess its an XLT until you open it up and see the grey cloth w/fold down jump seat!

Thanks! Yes I sprayed my 2013 STX front grill with the Gray Plastidip over a year ago and it is still going strong and have never had to re-spray! In fact, the same goes for the "temporary" hood graphic...its plastids too! I originally did it to see if I wanted the hood decal, then thought I would wait until the plastids started peeling before I replace it with the decal. But a yr later it has never had issues!

And honestly, if summers weren't so damn bad here in Texas, I would've gone with the STX. We have never had a vehicle with rear AC/heat. It's awesome.
One thing was certain when buying an F150 - no chrome!
