I was wondering about those sensors also. I do not think I would put them on the back doors of the SCREW. I load dogs and grocery's in the back doors so the steps can stay up out of the way.

Not a bad idea. And with these you could just mount it and pull the magnet if you wanted back doors deactivated. Then put them back if you change your mind

Greetings!
I made that video, and we purposefully put the sensors in the most obvious spots, so they'd show up better on camera (I might not have thought that all the way thru!). You can put them lower, higher, or on the middle pillar.

The newer PowerBoards (NX and regular) do stay down longer when you close the doors. That was based on good feedback from customers.

I've never heard of anyone not wanting them connected to the back door before, but ezTarget is right: it would be really easy with the NX version. Yippee! Extra unintended features.

Thanks for your interest. We appreciate it.

edit: There's a $100 rebate, and it applies to the new PowerBoard NX

So many of those wires are so delicate, I think I'd like to minimize as much as possible having to tap into them.

I bought my Power Boards from a seller on eBay while they were running a 100.00 rebate campaign, for 911.00 minus the rebate!
These things are amazing! People freak out when they see them slide out from under the truck!
They harness into your door ajar wires.
The taps they supply are the best on the market.
There are only four wires you are tapping into.
On my 2013 truck, all wires are found on the passenger loom, easily accessible by removing step plate!
I highly recommend these!!!
