Anyone have experience with PlastiDip?

Lol wow
Yes you could have searched (google site search works best ) but this is also a public forum where we are all f 150 owners here to help each other out so let me be the only person so far not to be a d bag and give you a fair response.
I was a skeptic of plastidip for durability and look since I use my truck as a truck. I did my step bars and emblems and they came out great truck gets washed every two weeks and for 3 months absolutely no problems. Do the job right remove emblems and clean and start with light coats. On step bars completely dissassemble down to just the chrome tubes

Its easy enough to try.
My personal opinion is I don't like it. Way to flat looking and even with the glossifier I think it still looks unsightly
But that is only my opinion. Some ppl like the finish

You posted nothing that hasn't already been posted a hundred times - so I fail to see how it really helps. No offense - but everything you did was covered multiple times. Looks good though. I will agree agree which is why my next mirror cap and door handle ptm project will be done with paint.

Regardless if he used the search function or not either be helpful or just don't post. You telling him what he should have done is not helpful whatsoever. And besides the search function for this forum is so broken it's not even funny. You search for plastidip and you get results ranging from stubby antennas, tire fitment to levels and lift kits.
To the OP, I have yet to find a use for plasti dip as I'm not a fan of the flat black matching up to gloss paint but to each his own. I have heard its reliable and I do think it looks great on certain applications. The best applications I've seems have been the entire vehicle or to the badges themselves. But applying plastidip to bumpers or mirror caps to simulate gloss paint just doesn't make sense to me.

Your high and mighty condescending tone in no way helps this thread. I simply helped out a fellow truck owner. If I have time to help why not it's why we're all here. I understand what you mean the same ole same ole threads get old I just feel it is nothing to put people down over.

All fer heppin' the Nooberisti wif their Nubicity, but senior members ortta know better.
Helping a fellow truck owner - no issues with that my good man - I'm likely near-first in line in that regard. But when said owner is too full of his own self-importance to bother looking for himself - and even infers as much, assisting him just reinforces and rewards bad behaviour, in my book.
