Default Anyone that has done the mirror upgrade, did you get the auto dim to work?

So i was wondering if anyone had figured out the auto dim. I upgraded to the power/heated/signal mirrors, from just power alone. The auto dim seems to be the only thing that wasn't plug n play on these mirrors. Its not a big deal, but my mirror has it, and if i can enable it, i would like to.

From the owners guide:
"The driver’s side exterior mirror will automatically dim when the interior
auto-dimming mirror is activated."
Do you already have an auto-dimming interior rear view mirror? It sounds like that is what controls the side mirrors.

Ah...no i do not. That makes sense. So I'd need to have the windshield one for the side one to work. Thank you sir.

Have a 2014 STX Sport that does have the auto dimming rear view mirror. Also added the mirror upgrade to the power signal, heated, auto dimming side view mirrors. Still the auto dimming does not work. Is there a hex code that has to be changed in the as built data for the auto dimming rear view mirror to send a signal to the side view mirror whenever lights strike the sensors in the rear view mirror? Thanks.

I added puddle lights to my existing mirrors, just had to tap into the purple wire on the truck side of the harness for my puddle lights to come on a dim with cargo interior etc.
