I bought my 2012 Ford F-150 Lariat back on 9/1/12 and the MSRP on it was $38,490 and with the window tint plus "etching" tint in the back made it go up to about $39,500.
I know that after it was all said and done I got the truck itself for $28,250 and I got the extended warranty on the truck cause I personally don't drive it a ton and won't be placing that many miles on it so that should last me the life of the loan deal.
By the way, this truck isn't 4x4, it's only 4x2, but I will admit that I had no reason to get 4x4 cause of the simple fact that I would never use it at all. Is it nice to have it just incase you might need it one day? Yes, but I really don't ever see that day happening cause I have owned 2 other trucks and I never needed it then and don't plan on needing it in the future.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the truck and I was happy with the purchase. I think that technically saving over $10,000 on the truck was nice before deciding to go with the extra warranty, but I'd rather be safe than sorry with the way things are now.
I don't have a picture up on here yet of my truck, but I will try to add one soon as I actually just leveled it out and plan on adding some new tires soon as well!
Oh I forgot to metion I live in Karnes City, TX and got my truck in San Antonio, TX at Southway Ford, which is owned by Mac Haik Ford.
