Default 2012 Dual Zone climate blowing hot air only top pax vents

I see a bunch of talk about blender doors and replacement but wondering if anyone has definitive experience with this issue so I don't go replacing stuff that is not correct. Simply blows hot air even when cold AC air is coming from driver side upper vents.

Confirmed the entire passenger side is blowing hot when AC is on while the driver side is cold. Is it one blender door that controls the entire side?

I had my passenger side blow hot when AC was engaged and blow cold when I wanted heat. I just replaced the passenger blender actuator and this fixed it!

Default Blender acuator

Looks like I might be having the same problem. My passenger side only puts out hot air all the time, even when A/C is on. Where is the blender Actuator located?

Default Blender Actuator failure

Thanks for the info on location of Blender Actuator. Is there anyway to tell if this unit has failed without R&R? Looks like alot of work if this is not the part that is bad.
Thanks

If you have hot air constantly on pax side then it is the issue. The job isn't that difficult and it's very satisfying once complete.
