Anyone Drive an EcoBoost With 4.10's Yet?

I didn't think you could get 4.10s in a boost.

Yes, the 4.10 electronic locking rear end is available in the FX-4.

I don't think the 410 is offered in the FX4. I just ordered one and the fleet guy said it was not available. I had to get the 373's.

4.10 was an option when I ordered my EB FX4 Screw

Maybe because I ordered a super cab.

My 4x4's, 6spd. first is so low with 3.73 it feels like my old '73 VW Super Beetle.

I can't imagine what a 4.10 would feel like.

1st gear will be a stump puller for sure. The R680 has both 5 and 6 gear overdriven. I can't imagine the 4.10's being too low. I believe the R680 tranny has the following ratio's:

4.17
2.34
1.52
1.14
.86
.69

If my math is right, by the time you are in 6th it would be like having a trany without overdrive and a 2.83 rear end. With this truck shutting off fuel at 99mph, I don't think RPM's will ever be an issue. I understand MPG may suffer a little, but I like torque.

I recall my old Dodge Challenger had 3.90's, 14 inch tires with a three speed automatic tranny. Now that would turn some RPM's.

While I have never had a car dealer, 'fleet' or otherwise, ever tell me an untruth; the 4.10 rearend is available in both the SCAB and the SCREW.

It is a + $1620.00 option for the SCAB.

With the FX4, the 4.10's are a $50.00 option if built with some other options. I thought 50 bucks is a lot cheaper than a full front and rear re-gear down the road.
