Default anyone deal with VMP Tuning?

i ordered my tuner more than 2 weeks ago. credit card was debted the same day as the order. i have 3 emails into them asking for status/tracking info. and i have only got an answer to my first email when justin wanted to know my order number. i emailed the number back to him in 15minutes after receiving his email. then notheing for 5 days now. ive even sent reminder emails. the lack of contact and customer support is disurbing me. i'm thinking about charging back the original charge before i get burned. anyone have similar experience? what was the resolve?

Don’t think anyone has ever been “burned”. Slow as tar dripping in the Yukon is the theme of a few tuners.
Too late now, but by the time this thread has 1 replies, could have had a Tune from 5Star. Just sayin.
It’s 2011, waiting weeks for an email tune/tuner is not cool.

I like the analogy.

I'm not complaining about the time to write a tune. Just the poor customer relations. And worry of them bailing on me after I paid for it. I still have sometime with visa to charge it back but its getting close.

Yea that really sucks dude. I say get ur money back. For something that big it's not worth it. If there not worried about u they are definitely not gonna worry about ur 35k truck and how it runs.

Look into 5 star, someone that actually takes the time to come on here every now and then just to make contact is a plus in my book. Just like tasca.

Contact and honest customer relations is the key to running a good business.

I ordered my tune from Starkie and had my tuner in my hands in 11 days. Keep in mind, Justin does tune outside of his shop, much like other Level 4 SCT guys.

Troyer takes like 6 weeks!

Justin at VMP did my tune for my GT500. He is the hands down best in the biz, and normally has A+ customer service. I can remember exchanging emails with him at 11pm here which was 1am there. He will come through

This happened to me as well and was told it shows on his website up to 2 weeks for custom tunes. I was very pleased with his 87 perf tune but not so much with his 93 perf tune.
