Thanks for that info. Same price as one place I found in Barrington but couldn't get in to this weekend. Wish I had asked this earlier though....looks like Carl's is closed already. lol I'll have to call this week to see if I can get it done next Saturday. What percentage did you get yours done at?

Prairie grove is closer for you than barrington anyway. Not sure on %. He just matched the factory tint from rear windows perfectly.

I think the back windows are around 20% which isn't legal here...so I'll have to go with 35 or 50%, whichever one is legal. Hope it doesn't look too goofy, and hope law enforcement doesn't mess with you. From what I've read on various forums here in Illinois they don't really harass people with trucks anyway...unless you go into Chicago then all bets are off. Any tint on the front windows there is a $250 ticket...ridiculous.

I am pretty sure it was 35% on back windows. Not a big deal in the burbs. Never heard that Chicago has their own ordinance about it though.

Carl is the MAN!!!, I have been using him for over 10 years and 10 cars, never even had one bubble. It is crazy how small of a world it is, I literally live like a mile from his shop.
