I run my 6000k HID's in the stock housings... I know it isn't "proper", but I cant afford to spend money on legitimate projector housings. With the amount of wildlife crossing the roads in the rural area I live, these headlights have saved my front end on numerous occasions.

I live in quite the rural area as well and my wife gets off work at midnight every night and I like her having as much light on the road as possible.
Besides, I just don't get the whole blinded by oncoming traffic anyhow, like an earlier poster said I was also taught to look at my side of the white line when lights bother me, not stare into the glare.
I almost feel if your getting blinded by oncoming traffic that's a you problem, learn to look slightly away.

Hi.
Hmmm ... lemme get this straight.
Two oncoming trucks on a single-lane road. One running JUNK like you are, the other with properly aimed projectors.
The driver with the projectors HAS to look away to avoid detaching his retinas from lighting that is thrown everywhere Except where it needs to be, while the driver with the JUNK HID's can continue to look straight ahead with no visual acuity impact.
Sound logical to me.
Looking away can incur additional risk as yer NOT gonna be looking at the Road while trying to save yer eyesight. It is dangerously distracting.
BTW - If you REALLY wanted "as much light as possible" you'd do a fekkin' retrofit, as the ***** yer running now is not even close to what is possible. Just don't let yer wifey know how clueless you actually are .
Yep - real considerate of yall.
If I were closer, we could do just that - perhaps you'd learn something. Probably not, though, in retrospect.
Just wow ....

I'm well aware your opinion isn't going to change. But don't pretend you are not inconveniencing every other driver you pass due to your own selfishness. If you are ok with that great. If not maybe you should consider the effects of your actions on others.
Would you be annoyed if your neighbors played loud music all night while you try to sleep? Seems to me you should just learn to put in ear plugs before bed.
