Anyone with 2011 platinum 6.2?
Anyone have a 2011 platinum with the 6.2?, What mirrors did it come with? The large trailer tow mirrors, or the smaller power folds? And if anyone can answer, does the platinum 6.2 come with a sport tuned suspension like the Limited and Harley? Ford build site confusing on this, and their brochure is not much help.

Based on my 2011 brochure if you get the 6.2L you have to get the Max Tow Package which comes with the Trailer Tow Mirrors. The brochure says nothing (at least that I can see) about tuned suspension.

I called my Ford dealer today. On the platinum and lariat the 6.2 engine is optional, but you have to have the Max trailer tow package which in both cases comes with the larger tow mirrors. You can not opt out of them, and they can only be changed aftermarket. Its amazing that when you opt for the 6.2 the tow rating drops from 8k+ to 7500 pounds, yet they give you a bigger mirror? This really makes no sense to me. I prefer the basic power fold mirrors. With the limited and harley the 6.2 is packaged with the power folds. Go figure.

Sounds like they didn't tighten them down all the way. I swapped the normal mirrors for the tow mirrors myself and haven't had any issues. If they kept rattling, I would have had them take it back and adjust the issue.

Not only are they too tall, but the tow mirrors make the truck over 7 inches wider between the two. Not sure they would fit in my cramped garage. And they are not power folding.
