Anybody have the Yokahama Geolander ATS
looking at P265/70/18 Geo's that measure 32.8" tall and only weigh 41 lbs. trying to stay away from LT tires and these are extra load 4ply tires. tread looks similar to the Michelin, reviews are all over the place. looking for info from someone that actually had a set on a vehicle. the price seems reasonable and most reviews get 40-55k miles on a set. all the other brands in this size measure 32.6.

Solid Choice
I have not had them on my F150 but currently run the Geolander H/T-S on my wife's 08 Explorer. Had 2 sets on my 02 Explorer (4x4) and ran them on the beach, in snow and ice and lots of pavement miles. I have been more than happy with them. Of course there is a big weight difference between Explorer and F150 and mine were the H/T and not A/T but I did surpass the listed tread life and will consider them when my Michelin's need replaced.

I run the Geolander A/T-S 275/55R20's on my 2013 F150 Lariat 4x4 Crew and I love them! They have great snow traction (which is much needed where I live) and are very quiet in the summer months on the highway. My truck doesn't see mud or gravel if I can help it so I cant testify to that traction but I would buy them again for what I do.

I just bought a set of the c rated ATS's for my 2013 STX that i tow with. So far I really like them. The extra plys in the side wall make the ride a lot more stable with out the rock hard ride of the e rated. They are also much quieter than I expected for such an aggressive tred.

Eco-5.0-Eco again
They also wear unevenly in some cases...I'm not sure why (I am meticulous about alignments and tire pressure) but they were also noisy as heck. I would rate them as junk. If you search the net, you'll see some of the complaints. With the problems I had, Yokohama basically told me to pound sand even at 10K (on 50K tire)....never again.

Amazing tires! Ran them on my 2003 GMC Sierra z71, and ended up with over 80k miles on them! (285/75/16 E) They'll probably be my next set on my F150. They're quiet(for an AT), good traction when you need it(never got stuck), wear well with proper rotation, and don't look half bad. I've recommended these for years since that experience. While I have had a couple different brands since then, it's not cause those were a disappointment. I'd go back to them in a second, I just went with more aggressive tread patterns after that. Highly recommend!

Had a set on and old work truck. They are pretty good. I don't know if they still do but the coal mines (3 that I know of) in the Elk Valley in BC run that tire as the replacement on all of their half and 3/4 tons.
The mine roads can be pretty bad. Lots of snow in the winter and lots of mud in the spring. The tires also hold up well to the rough road crush they use.
On a side note 0.2" in tire height is only 0.1" ride height. I wouldn't get hung up on actual size. Another option is the Bridgestone Dueler AT REVO.

I had a set of the Bridgestone AT REVO on my 07 ranger, ran them 2 full summers, prob close to 20,000 KM and they hardly look worn. Amazing tire, great traction on highway, and mild off roading. extremely quiet.
