Any way to access siri from ford sync

Just a matter of opinion. Ford pushed out an update to sync which could have included access to siri or google. Simple in software and people with smart phones (fords customers) would have been happier. Not making your customers happy when it costs you nothing is my definition of an obvious oversight. You speak like you know Ford's intent, I for sure don't and would argue someone there is not paying attention.
To 99% ( and this is a guess as you're the first person I've seen in the years on this board concerned about it) of the buyers out there they don't care about that little thing as they will just simply push and hold the home button summoning Siri or take the extra 1.5 secs to plug it in to use the new and exciting why of summoning Siri using "hey Siri"
I think it's kind of selfish to think an auto manufacture should pay a competing software company to make one little feature work when technically it works fine but you're too inconvenienced to use the other two methods that work like a charm.
Guess it is a difference of opinion and shows the entitlement mentality that society is becoming.

Just curious, was there something wrong with the solution I posted? There are 2 companies that make Bluetooth "home" buttons, I have one of them and it works exactly as intended, press and hold the button and Siri plays through the car. You can put the button anywhere you like.
Here is the cheaper option

What is more possible? Ford being lazy or Apple being ******?

it's like complaining that your playstation doesn't play xbox games!
2 different competing companies Apple vs Microsoft in this case. Why would apple allow support on ms sync, when apple is venturing into cars with carplay
