Stratocaster

Anyone in here besides me with a Royal red Metallic F150? Are you happy with it?

I thought that was the color to get when I saw it because the paint looked like it was on fire when the sun hit it just right but it really sucks on cloudy or rainy days. Candy Red may have been a better choice but I've done Candy Red before and wanted a change this time. I still love the color but no so much on overcast days.

I looked at a lot of dealers around this area before I bought mine, I never saw one that color on anybody's lot. Its a new one on me.

Sure wish mine looked like that. The water where I live is super hard and I fight a losing battle with water spots every time I was my truck. I can't even clay them out.

Thanks for digging up an old thread! I had forgotten all about it. Not many RR's on the road but it is a great color that sparkles like fire when dressed up.

I saw once on the road when I was looking and ended up calling several dealers before finding it. One even told me that color would be very hard to find but I found one about 50 miles from my front door. It sure is a great color when cleaned up right.

Thanks Stratocaster. She's a beast to wash and wax but she is gorgeous and the fall colors that day sure helped her look good.

I honestly wasn't looking for this color but she had everything I was looking for and more. Once I saw her in person, I knew she was mine. I signed the paperwork 30 minutes after arriving at the dealers.

My truck is Royal Red. You don't see many this color.

I'm still waiting to wear out the stock rubber before installing a level kit and wheels/tires. Love my truck!
