Default Any regrets on the 5 1/2' bed

Are there any 5 1/2' bed owners that wished they had gotten the 6 1/2' bed?

If so why?

Don't need to hear all the reasons people are happy with the shorter one, those reason are probably apparent.

Thanks,

No regrets! If it's to big for the truck bed I'll use my trailer.

Not yet. Used to 6.5 foot beds before.

I've put a slim line tool box in mine. It's 12 inches wide. I love the tool box for many reasons but it make a 5.5' bed even shorter. I've also put a weekender ladder rack in for out canoe. This pushes the toolbox up another 2 inches so my 5.5 bed is now 4'3" I don't mind the short bed as someone else said about using a trailer but a 6.5' bed would accommodate tool box a lot better.

Nope...I love the 5.5 ft. bed and shorter overall length of the truck. If I need to occassionally haul longer loads then dropping the tailgate and using the bed extender or tie down straps have worked just fine. Hauls the dirt bikes just fine too.

Nope. I don't need to drive a school bus every day.
